Description

Jar2Exe runs on Windows, but Jar2Exe can generate exe files for Windows and Linux. Jar2Exe has 2 editions: 32 bits edition and 64 bits edition:

  • 32 bits edition of Jar2Exe can generate 32 bits exe files.
  • 64 bits edition of Jar2Exe can generate both 32 bits exe and 64 bits exe files.

System requirements

32 bits edition supported operating systems: Windows NT 4.0, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP (32 and 64 bits), Windows 2003 (32 and 64 bits), Windows Vista (32 and 64 bits), Windows 2008 (32 and 64 bits), Windows 7 (32 and 64 bits), Windows 8 (32 and 64 bits)

64 bits edition supported operating systems: Windows XP (64 bits), Windows 2003 (64 bits), Windows Vista (64 bits), Windows 2008 (64 bits), Windows 7 (64 bits), Window 8 (64 bits)

Recommended system:

  • Intel Pentium or AMD processor, 1 GHz
  • 256M of RAM

Install

If you downloaded the "install file", you can click the "msi" file and follow the instructions of install wizard.

If you downloaded the green package without install, you can create shortcuts by yourself. If you want to use Jar2Exe as a command line tool, you can modify the PATH environment to include Directory of Jar2Exe or you use full path of "j2ewiz" every time.
